Fairholm Boutique Inns is a family owned and operated five star National historic property in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. We have been delivering high quality island hospitality since we opened our doors in 1999. Our occupancy levels operate at 95% min. in our prime season and our growth has allowed us to expand into weddings and large events. 

The secluded location combined with the courtyard style surroundings of Fairholm Boutique Inns offers the ideal location for a production team. For our Diggstown guests, Fairholm Boutique Inn's is excited to offer two of our prime buildings, Fairholm Inn and the Carriage House, with additional neighbouring properties included as accommodation options for the Diggstown team.

THE SPACE

The suites in Fairholm feature exposed wood beams, fireplaces, luxurious king and queen beds. You can't forget about the beautiful brick archways, white fluffy towels and AVEDA bath products! Fairholm and the Carriage House feature a luxurious outdoor lighted pergola, patio, stone walkways, propane fire pit and lush gardens with comfortable lounge furniture. This downtown Charlottetown brick mansion was built in 1838 and has undergone a detailed restoration to it's original splendor and is now a Canada Select Five Star Inn and one of Canada’s National Historic Sites.

Fairholm is a massive, equipped with 7 elegant and spacious rooms that all have a private, ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower. Additionally, Fairholm has a large kitchen, dining, living and sunroom that take you back to a time when life was more simple.

Our living room spaces are complimented with large bay glass windows, unique furniture and fresh coffee & tea. The large Kitchen in Fairholm has all the amenities and allows guests to fully feel at home with this space. Our upstairs sunroom is the perfect location in the villa to relax, dive into your latest novel or check out our classic board games.

Nestled behind Fairholm is our Carriage House. For the more modern traveler's and families alike, our 6 Suite Carriage House offers full kitchens and Murphy beds. The Carriage house is highlighted by our beautiful pergola and fire pit that centres our downtown our downtown courtyard property. The dream of the Carriage House became reality after years of planning and meeting heritage guidelines. The Carriage House is a 6 unit "all suite" building situated where Fairholm’s original carriage house used to stand, it welcomed its first guests in June, 2014.  All units have full kitchens, fireplaces, in room A/C, private decks or patios and can sleep up to 4 people comfortably. You can find our pergola & fire pit just steps away from the Carriage House.

• Private Kitchen: The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and is large enough to cook to hold large parties and events

• Pergola & Fire pit: In the centre of our courtyard is our pergola and fire pit. Whether you are looking to BBQ dinner or simply looking for a drink to unwind, the beautifully lit pergola and fire pit is where you want to be.

• Storage Space: Fairholm basement has plenty of space for large storage items that guests may not have space for in their room.

• Downtown access: Our property resides in the heart of downtown Charlottetown giving guests only a short walk to any local restaurants and attractions.

• Privacy: Nestled in the back of our property, resident's of The Carriage House have quiet and private accommodations.
